Lisa Hamilton (b. Orange, California) uses her practice to examine the pull of the natural world. Through movement, texture, weight she explores its relation to the fragile, yet resilient landscape of the body. Her metals work has been exhibited nationally including The Foundry Art Centre, Saint Charles, Missouri; Bluestem Missouri Crafts Art Gallery, Columbia, Missouri; The Delta Exhibition 2017, Arkansas Art Center, Little Rock, Arkansas; The Octagon Center for the Arts in Ames, Iowa. She received her BFA in Metal/Jewelry and minor in Art History from Missouri State University. Lisa currently resides in the beautiful rural Ozark Mountain Plateau region of southwest Missouri.
